Deep within the forest lived an ancient guardian known as Leshy, a massive being who watched over everyone entering his domain. His body resembled an old tree trunk rough, cracked, and covered in moss and vines, as if he had been born from the forest itself.
Leshy possessed four glowing green eyes, symbolizing his ability to see life, death, balance, and danger from every direction. His four branching arms resembled giant tree limbs, representing his deep connection with nature and his role as protector of the forest.
Glowing centers of natural energy appeared on his head, palms, and knees. These lights symbolized his spiritual bond with the forest, his power to create or destroy, and his connection to the earth beneath him.
He would never harm those who respected the forest. But anyone who hunted animals, destroyed nature, or took what did not belong to them would awaken his wrath. Legend says Leshy could lead intruders deep into the forest until they lost their way forever or emerge from the darkness itself to protect his home.

An old woman who lives deep within the forest, inside a narrow house where almost every corner is filled with ovens. No one truly knows what kind of creature she is. Whether she is good or evil, whether she is still alive or has long been dead.
Baba Yaga is a being full of mystery, standing between fear and hope. She is portrayed as a thin woman with a terrifying face, sharp eyes, and strong pointed teeth. Her left leg is nothing but bone, while her right leg still appears normal, symbolizing that she stands between life and death.
In folklore, Baba Yaga is often known as a kidnapper of children. However, in this interpretation, she is not portrayed as someone who kills, but as someone who «rebirths» them instead. She kidnaps sick children, wraps them in dough, and places them inside the oven as a symbol of purification and rebirth, so they may return as healthy children once again.

In the calm stillness of the lake, beware of Rusalka. She can slowly lure you in, hypnotize you with her voice and gaze, and make you fall in love with her without even realizing it. Then, she will drag you into the dark depths of the lake, turning your body into part of the water plants growing beneath the surface.
Long ago, she was only a kind young woman who fell in love. But on the day of her wedding, she was betrayed and abandoned by the person she trusted most. The pain and heartbreak changed her forever. Since then, she has returned as the spirit guardian of the lake. Beautiful, silent, yet filled with sorrow and vengeance.

In a quiet home, it is said that there is always a small creature watching over the fireplace. Domovoy becomes very happy when given simple offerings such as bread and milk by the homeowners. He is also known as a friend to pets and a guardian for sleeping babies.
Domovoy is believed to be a protective household spirit that keeps the home warm, safe, and peaceful. As long as he is treated kindly and with respect, he will protect the house and make it a comfortable place to live. However, if ignored or angered, Domovoy may become mischievous. Disturbing the residents, creating strange noises at night, and filling the house with an unsettling feeling, as if it no longer feels like home.

Do not pollute the lake, such as catching fish with poison or destroying the life within the water. Because if you do, Vodyanoy will come looking for you.
He is the guardian of the lake who lives within its dark depths. His body is slick and covered in greenish scales, with a long beard. An old cigar almost always hangs from his mouth, releasing thin trails of smoke into the cold air above the water. Legend says the cigar never burns out because its fire comes from the souls of water creatures that died because of human actions. Every trail of smoke is believed to carry whispers from the lake itself, reminding Vodyanoy of every life that has been lost within his waters.
Vodyanoy rarely reveals himself to kind people. But when he sees someone poisoning the water, destroying the lake, or killing the creatures within it, he will slowly rise from the calm surface of the water. And when that happens, it is usually already too late to run.

Legend says Koschei the Deathless was an ancient sorcerer whose body resembled a living corpse. Thin, pale, skeletal, with cold eyes that seemed completely devoid of life. For a long time, he was sealed away in darkness and bound in chains, until one day Ivan Tsarevich unknowingly set him free.
The moment his chains were broken, Koschei abducted the princess, Marya Morevna, Ivan’s beloved and the very person who had sealed him away long ago. Desperate, Ivan chased after them, but Koschei rode a magical horse that moved as fast as a storm, leaving only wind and dust behind.
In his hand he carried an enchanted sword glowing with a dim red light, like burning embers in the middle of the night. Legend says the sword was directly tied to his immortality. With every life it claimed, the crimson glow grew brighter, as though the blade slowly consumed the life force of its victims.
And as long as the secret of Koschei’s immortality remains hidden, he is destined to return from the shadows, no matter how many times he is defeated.
