The idea behind my project was to combine a dessert set with a children’s dinnerware set, as children are the biggest fans of sweets. This set is designed for the whole family, including the youngest members, so its design reflects the style of children’s dishes. This approach will also delight adults, reminding them of the carefree days of childhood when they played and spent time with their loved ones around the family table.

The cake, an enduring symbol of celebration, takes center stage in the project. In the set, it is represented as a container for storing sweets, making it a key element of the dinnerware collection.

The central element of this project is a ceramic cake divided into eight pieces. The set includes seven containers, designed this way to make it psychologically easier for a child to take the first piece.

The container is also a great fit for home use, serving as an alternative to a candy dish, which often contributes to visual clutter.

«Holiday» is a dinnerware collection designed for warm family gatherings. In this project, I moved away from the strict traditional dessert sets, focusing instead on lively, unique forms. The cups imitate handcrafted work, with each one featuring its own distinctive dent and individuality. Despite the traditional shape of the cups, each has its own unique character.

The manufacturing process consisted of five steps: creating models, making plaster molds, casting, firing, and glazing.
