The manufacturing process begins with printing on a 3D printer, further manual processing and final painting. The final part is one of the most labor-intensive processes, since the painting technology is identical to car painting.
The «Aliens» collection solves not only utilitarian and functional problems in everyday life, but also serves as art objects in space. These are objects at the intersection of art and design, thereby solving two problems — the aesthetic component in the form of high art and the functional one. FANTASYING ABOUT OTHER WORLDS.
I fantasized about other worlds, like the great Ilya Kabakov in his installation «The Man Who Flew into Space.» Where the hero wanted to fly away from his communal apartment using a catapult built from mattress springs and rubber bands. In turn, I wanted to come up with fictional characters who, on the contrary, would fly to our earth and help people become better people.
I wanted to go into space so that the aliens would show how to protect our planet, how to be useful to each other through service for the good. And these items will serve us to provide comfort. This collection even reflects the egoistic principle of man: In the end, these things should serve us. Everywhere we are trying to subjugate someone.
But the results are such that we must solve the global challenges facing humanity ourselves in order to preserve peace for our descendants.
They say that any good, modern artist in his work reflects the surrounding reality and feels the mood of the era. The artist is a mirror of the era.
