Machine Rebellion

In my series of embroidery, I combine the traditions of the past with the elements of today. I’m taking a pop-cultural story about a car uprising and putting it in a traditional cross embroidery. From the past, I’m borrowing not only the method of embroidery, the principles of composition and the well-established visual style, but also the naive literal interpretation of this popular story as a bumper machine.
